This is my contents page artist- JACK EAST

I will using one of these images in my contents page to show another artist trying to make it to the top again. The photos are casual and natural as my model sang and played the guitar at the same time. I believe these photos work as they reveal a chilled out, passionate musican. I got my model to wear a smart shirt which helped with the more sophisticated look, however the jeans help to add to the young/cool look. I am happy with how they came out and the white background behind helps to put more focus on the artist.

This is my second shoot of pop artist, Scarlett Harper. My model is now dressed in more formal clothes and is showing a more elegant approach to fashion and music. The shoot went well and it shows a different, more sophisticated look to Harper which I wanted to do.

The shoot went very well and the lighting seemed to be good in all the photos. The main focus in all the photos is on Scarlett Harper which was the aim. The guitar and rose petals work well in the photographs as they show the musical and fun side to the artist. These photos reveal the fun side to Harper, however I will be doing another shoot which will show a more elegant and sophisticated side to her.

The captivating, ravishing, glamour Queen of West London- the sensational, SCARLETT HARPER.

From successful university graduate to world-wide singing superstar, the 21 year old is now brining us more by releasing her new and exclusive debut album 'This is Now', including the number.1 hit Changes

Unlike other global singing sensations, Harper did not find out her passion and gift for music until secondary school when she auditioned for her first school show, 'FAME'. This was the pivotal point in Harper's life as she charmed and mesmerized the judges as her musical talent was discovered. She got given the leading roll in which she took on with dedication and enthusiasm and in doing so, stole the stage. It was here onwards that Harper knew she wanted to be a performer and so took up singing lessons in her spare time and posted her videos on-line to You-Tube.

When talking to RUBI Harper revealed her lyrics are personal and always relate back to past experiences which got her here today. "When writing lyrics to my music, I feel like I am re-creating memories that were in the past and it always brings out the best in me as I remember the eventful times in my life." She went onto say, "It is not always good things in which I remember which reminds me that life is never filled with only positive events, there will always be the times you do not want to remember but we must embrace them". Harper's positive and upbeat attitude is what her fans admire about her and it is shown in her new album 'This is Now'. The album includes the number.1 hit single Changes which topped the charts earlier this year. The new album 'This is Now' will include this stunning song along with 9 others.

When doing this exclusive interview with RUBI  Harper revealed  how the album represents her totally new image and shows her transformation from student to sensation. "The idea of the album was to show my fans how people's image can change within a year, however their personality will always be the same" She carried onto say- "When writing Changes, I wanted the lyrics to be personal and relate-able as it can be a significant part in someone's life. It took me almost 3 months to write which reveals how much work I put into my music and shows how much it means to me. I hope my fans are able to recognise this in all my music and enjoy the whole album."

Harper's future is looking positive so far as she has a lot ahead of her. As her music becomes global, her image will too. RUBI spoke to Harper about her latest fashion line in which she released last year and it is already a hit with the public. "The opportunities I have had have been amazing, releasing my own fashion line was something I never thought I'd do but I worked hard for it and appearing in London Fashion Week was truly incredible and I will never forget it." Harper's designed clothing is available online now at -www.scarlettharperfashion.com.

I wanted my contents page to be filled with relevant and exciting new information which will interest the reader. I will be introducing new artists on this page (including both solo and group.) I believe that by doing this, the reader will then find something that they enjoy personally and it will also help promote the other artists. I will be in-bedding photos for effect and to make them stand out on the page. This again will draw the reader in. The page will be colourful but at the same time using the same colour scheme which is presented on the front cover in order to get a slick and sophisticated feel.

When planning my feature article, I wanted it to be something new and striking which is unmissable. The main focus on the two pages will be on Scarlett Harper who is also presented on the front cover, I will again use the dominant colour scheme but I will also be in-bedding quotes and photos in order to entice the reader. The page will be well structured and laid-out in order for an easy read, again this presents the sophisticated feel which the magazine is about. The photo will take up one whole page in order for the audience to get a clear image who the artist is.

I wanted to really focus on my front cover as I believe this is what actually entices the reader into the magazine. It needs to be clear and presentable which sets a clear message across to the audience. The main image will be of Scarlett Harper who will appear in the feature article. I am thinking of making the page quite busy with information but at the same time I aim to keep it neat and easy to read. The image will be essential in the front cover and will take up the page in order to make the audience get a good first impression of the artist. Here I will show my dominant colour scheme.
